Suicide by Cop-out

Got a story problem? Got a problem ’cause you have no story? Have a character kill themselves at the end! It’s in every indie filmmakers toolbox when they come to the end and realize there is none. It adds weight to proceedings, or at least the illusion of weight. Which I suppose makes them mustachio’d musclemen of cartoon lore. And me Bugs Bunny by picking up 1000 lbs afterwards for the audience.
