The Hollywood Galaxy 6

Certainly my favorite theater, or perhaps the most attended. It remained utterly abandoned even at its height (except for a showing of Battlefield Earth, for which the audience was bused in from the Celebrity Center). It had free parking, which in those days was crucial, especially if you need an extra two hours for a sneak into Clockers after Hackers. But of course what I’ll remember most is the hours spent, possibly in between sneaks, of playing House of the Dead. Who knew it would become Hr. Uwe Boll’s first film, never, ironically, to play at the Hollywood Galaxy 6
