Writing to the end

The end is just one moment of the film. If everything is leading up to this (says the trailer for the film six films before the ‘this’ in question), we are going to be watching a lot of nothing. Stop it, and start paying attention to characters and what they want, besides putting them in situations that get them to the end. I’m serious. Stop it.
