Inexplicable CGI Dogs

Like many of my rules, the origin is less the actual origin than what happens to stick in my head. There is bad and unnecessary CG in many a film, and has been for some time. In this case, the CGI dogs in question originate in the first of the Hunger Games films. They were, as was all the CG in that film, memorably terrible.

Generally not a big fan of the computer generated stuff, but accept it. This rule applies if it’s bad enough for me to notice, more to the point, if someone uses computers generated stuff to fix problems with the shot choices, editing or story. This happens quite a bit.
