Your Geography Is All Over the Place

One of the things that few directors master is the depiction of physical space. One of the coolest things about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban, was the way in which you know where things are, how to get to the tree from the bridge.  To know where things are is to know where things can go. And no, it’s not from the LA River to Long Beach and then to Chatsworth. That’s a different rule.
