the year that Mr. Mark Webb will make a non-linear meditation of clouds of vapor that represent the war between the DRC and Canada during the second medieval plague of 2352, in turn causing Sr. Alejandro Jodorowsky to throw up his hands and direct an episode of The Mentalist.  With The Zero Theorem and Under the Skin, but much more importantly, studio fare like A New York Winter’s Tale, and even more importantly successful studio fare like Noah, the filmmaking community has collectively lost their minds.  It is a time when weird arty films just aren’t weird enough, and studio pictures are making purple mud sense.  Whether or not will get another Hudson Hawk only time will tell, but the year of the Apeshit Crazy Ape-Horse has the best quality of art by those who have lost their mind: not having known that they have.  Forecast calls for raining Jim Carrey’s to symbolize being sad about miniature pigs.
