I’ve seen a lot of films from a lot of years.

And with the possible exception of 1952, a year I simply pulled out of the ass of 2011, 2011 is the worst year in cinema history. Most of the films were just awful, with three, count ’em three, in the bottom twenty of all time (that’s Hugo, Green Hornet and Kill List, with the remainder in the bottom twenty-six. it was a perfect time to start writing, but not a perfect time to start watching. It’s over now.

Oh Christ, Meek’s Cutoff. And Cowboys and Aliens. And Tintin.

Let us never speak of it again, except in joke form.
