The Vers Le Large

There’s convenient and free parking at The Vers Le Large cinema in Dinan, but little proximity to snacks. The excellent chocolatier Johann Dubois is in Dinan, but it’s too far to walk. Then one day, I walked.  So I could have as much chocolate as I wanted for the rest of my life.

One must be cautious seeing films at an Emeraude cinema, as they have taken it upon themselves to advertise local businesses for a good ten minutes before the feature. It’s like the slideshows with used to get, but on video. Except it’s slides transferred to video and animated via After Effects. The charm wears off fast.
