Stay out of space

It’s what Mr. Kurt Vonnegut said in Sirens of Titan, had a profound effect on me. Like our explorations before it, and our fantasies of abandoning a planet coincidentally designed for the complexities of our survival, the desire to explore remains what it is at geographical level – running away.

You can make good movies about it, but you have to know that going in. Also, let’s try sitting still for a bit. It’s why I never leave a movie. Yeah. That’s why. High-mindedness.
